Common question:

Why is there no sound? The app’s mute function is not activated, and other apps have sound.
Make sure that the device’s Silent Mode isn’t activated. Look for a side switch on the device and try to switch it back, or check the system’s Control Center. (Some apps still have sound even if Silent Mode is on.)
